| Some Will Choose Rebellion Rather Than Obedience |

The Message:
The world, under Satan's training, has become qualified to do the work that he has purposed-place rebellion on the judgment seat, and summon the Creator of the heavens and the earth to be judged according to human judgment. Satanic agencies confront God with the will of humankind. In the last great conflict, people will attempt to array God before their judgment seat and pronounce sentence against Him, judging His law by the standard of the world. But the supreme Ruler will judge every person according to his or her works. All heaven has been watching for this movement. Then everyone will have an opportunity to choose on whose side they will stand.
All are working out their own destiny at the present time. God brings the light of His Word before the world, but there are those who will choose rebellion rather than obedience, and this decision will be for all time. The sinner voluntarily turns from a "Thus saith the Lord" to the deceiving representations of Satan. Has not God spoken? Has He not presented before human minds the motives that are to bear upon human hearts? In their resistance, they are rebelling against the word and power and authority of God, saying, "We will not have this man to reign over us."
And you are taking sides. A reward is offered you if you are obedient-connected with God as His sons and daughters. On the other hand is presented the judgment scene. When the Son of man shall come in His glory and all the holy angels with Him, the judgment will sit, and the books will be opened, and everyone will be judged out of those things that are written in the books. "And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: and he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left." [Matthew 25:32, 33.] Have you no dread of being placed with the first great rebel?
It is because of the great temptations offered to the youth in their associations, that we have had urged upon us the necessity of withdrawing from the city, and opening a way that the youth may have an opportunity to employ their time in physical and mental culture, that they may avoid the infatuation that is causing men to gratify their desire for pleasure, and in thus doing opening the door to Satan's temptations.
The world is to be again destroyed as by the Flood, not by water, but by fire. We read the Scripture, "As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be when the Son of man is revealed." [Luke 17:26, 30.] Fathers and mothers must awake to their responsibilities, lest by their own course of action they encourage rebellion in their children. We feel to the depths of our being the peril that meets us in these last days. But the Lord sees, He understands all our necessities.
These are the motives we have in working to bring all we can to Jesus. We are anxious to establish our school, that all who wish to become students may have an opportunity. Left to yourselves, you will never exercise your reason correctly. But the Lord will not leave you to yourselves. He follows you by His Holy Spirit. He thrusts the subject upon you. Is it unpleasant to you to be urged to come and put forth every effort? We do not ask those to come who feel they have no need. We want those who feel their great necessity, and who desire to be workers.-Manuscript 10a, 1898.

Commentary:
My friend, the world must be warned; the everlasting gospel must be brought to the world as a witness, that all may decide for or against Christ. This message that is to go to the world is the true three angels message which is to call the world back to worship the One true God through His Son Jesus Christ. The reason why this message has not been attended by the power of God in these last days is because it has been separated from the power of God. The focus of the message has been redirected from the One true God to the Sabbath, thus separating it from God.
This misdirection is not without a cause. Those in leadership positions within the Seventh-day Adventist Church have accepted the trinity as their god and have led the congregation to accept it as well. By its influence all have been corrupted by its influence. The spirit of the trinity is the spirit of antichrist, for it denies that the Son of God is truly a son, and in so doing denies the Father as well. "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." (1 John 2:22).
The heart of the three angels message is the everlasting gospel proclaiming "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16). For God to give us His Son, He first must have a son to give. The trinity claims that the Son is not literally a son, but is only a role that one of the god-beings has assumed for the salvation of man. But this is not so, for the Father, who cannot lie, declared "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." (Matthew 3:17). To deny that the Son of God is truly a son is to deny both the Father and the Son, and as such is the spirit of antichrist.
The first angels message declares the everlasting gospel and the One true God, for it commands the world "Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." (Revelation 14:7). It is a call to worship the Creator of heaven and earth, and that is the Father, the One true God. "But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." (1 Corinthians 8:6).
The Father is the true creator of heaven and earth, for He created all things by His Son. "And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:" (Ephesians 3:9). Those who hold that the trinity as their god deny the One true God, and by this belief they change the focus of the first angels message away from the One true God unto the Sabbath, so that the true message does not awaken the hearts and minds of the people unto the true Creator of heaven and earth.
The corporate Seventh-day Adventist church is in open rebellion against God, for they have forsaken the One true God for the god of the trinity and are being led by its spirit. The church today is truly in the Laodicean condition for Christ is no longer leading His Church, for He has been forsaken by the leaders of the church. He is depicted as on the outside seeking to gain entrance into the hearts of His people saying "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." (Revelation 3:20).
My friend, now is not the time to sleep, it is time for us to awaken to the deception that has been played upon us. It is time to study to show ourselves approved of God, for we are living in the closing scenes of earths history. Soon and very soon, we will be called to make a decision either for or against God. The mark of the beast will be implemented and only those who have the seal of God will be saved. Those who worship the god of the trinity will receive the mark of the beast as readily as those who worship on Sunday, for the trinity is the central doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church, and by it flows all of its doctrines to include Sunday sacredness. The trinity is the god of Rome, and Satan has artfully supplanted the One true God for the false god of the trinity within the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This is the great deception that is to fool if possible the very elect.
My prayer today is that you will seek after the Lord and receive the rebuke from the Faithful and True Witness of God by zealous repentance today.
